Makes
Spool holder for any size of spool central hole between 62-48mm.
I'm calling at an "auto" Spool holder as it fits all sizes in the range automatically with no adjustment. Universal is not quite the correct correct term here. The spiral part collapses easily to push inside the Spool. The spindle bearing stays on the printer bracket - you just push the spool with the spiral bit onto the printer. No need for any extra fixings. it will grip the spool fine.
I would use PETG for the collapsing spiral holder (being a springy material you need). The Bearing spindle can be any material.
Parts are nice snug fit. Not too loose. Not too tight.
Bearings are off the shelf 19mmOD x 8mm ID, 6mm thickness. Common size. M8 x 100mm minimum bolt, M8 washer nut etc....Use loctite or a longer bolt with a Nylon locking nut if you like.
M8 clearance hole drilled in the spool holder bracket (this was for an Anet A8 but it can be used on any printer.
Note got one Spool from SunLu that has 70m
