This allow you to place a 6cm diameter halo light underneath the printer so you can see your 3D prints in more detail. This works for the Printrbot Simple 2014 model, but it might work for others. You need supports and it will be hard to remove them, so what I did was I used a dremel to get rid of the supports.

There is a problem with the printer drawing up too much power
causing the light to flicker, but if you make one of these adjustable voltage regulators (or even buy them on line) you can set the brightness of your printer light.
