PROJECT BENCHY Creative Reuse of Filament Spools, Boxes, and Printable Parts Modular Design Built with Stackable Layers and Custom Connectors Inspired by the Iconic 3DBenchy and Presented as a Creative Showcase The Project Benchy started with the idea of giving a second life to filament spools, inspired by the "Reusing Cardboard Spools" contest. While planning how to use the spools most efficiently, the thought of including boxes, leftover filament, and even failed prints naturally came into play. The goal was to reusewhat was already available and turn it into something meaningful. Choosing to recreate 3DBenchy, the widely recognized model originally created by CreativeTools, made the process both fun and symbolic. What began as a simple reuse project turned into something larger, more expressive, and surprisingly manageable. The build was easier than expected, although it does take time due to the number of layers and connections involved. Model Information Dimensions (X-Y-Z) | Assembled Model: 1100 x 2500 x 1550 mm Assembly guide is provided in the documents. Note: The project contains more than 400 printed connectors and support parts, excluding optional elements.
