Prophet Style Knob

This knob is made to specifically fit this rotary encoder: https://sneakbox.com/products/rotary-encoder-smooth-turning-no-detents-raw-component It's a very snug fit, designed to hold in place without needing a grub screw. That being said, you are welcome to adjust it to your needs if your encoder or potentiometer is different. This knob takes inspiration from the knobs you would find on a Sequential Prophet synthesizer. I try to avoid needing supports at all costs so this is designed so that I can print without supports and print it right side up to allow for ironing of the top layer. I don't have an AMS so this is done with a pause in the print to switch filament colors. I used Silk PLA for the top with ironing to smooth out the top most layer. I HIGHLY recommend a cold plate for this print to allow for extra grip when performing the filament change. This is designed for a midi controller project I'm working on with endless encoders so there is no gauge mark on the top.
