Stuff with intricate parts that were controlled by one smooth motion, and did something complex with it. Bar linkages come to mind most for me. Walking machines that are controlled by one single rotary motor, long gear trains, they all stuck out to me. When looking at finger mechanisms, I noticed that all of them required many intricate moving parts in order to get that smooth finger motion with one smooth motion. I knew I could probably do something like that with less parts, and I had some prior knowledge on bar linkages, so with some time, I got a working finger that had very few parts to it that was also proportioned correctly. With some more adapting, I successfully added a palm for 4 more fingers, and an adjustable wrist, and now, it's a wearable prosthetic! the back is carved out so that someone can put there arm into the back, and use a custom silicone mold to make it a snug fit. the fingers are controlled by strings running from the knuckles to the wrist and then strapped to your upper arm, where bending your elbow will make the fingers curl into a fist. there are a few ways to make the fingers retract, those being either a spring mounted under the knuckle, or a rubber band connecting the knuckle axle with a joint axle further up the finger. This model has many small parts, so if possible, exchange the axles for metal wires. The attached images depict how you should assemble it: Each part number is labeled so that its easier to tell axles apart. follow instructions CAREFULLY, and use the guide as closely as possible. MY MODEL WAS PRINTED AT 150% SCALE, BECAUSE THIS MODEL HAS VERY SMALL PARTS MEANT FOR EXTREMELY PRECISE PRINTING. I highly recommend using a 0.2mm nozzle instead of 0.4, but I didn't have a 0.2mm nozzle, so that's why the print profile is set to 0.4 P
