Protective Corner Bracket for Table / Shelf

I run the First L3GO League Challenge competition as a teacher. Having built new FLL Robot Game competition tables, I wanted to keep the end grain of the timber free from picking fingers (and therefore splinters), so made this bracket to cover the corners of the two tables. They're not yet attached in the photos as I need to apply another couple of coats of paint first, but you get the idea. I tried to position the screw holes so the screws would not interfere with those attaching the timber sections together. I hope you find it useful.
