Available sizes Small – 1:35 of the actual size | Normal, Hollow & Pre-supported versions Description Protemnodon anak was a large extinct kangaroo that lived in Australia during the Pleistocene epoch, roughly 2.6 million to 40,000 years ago. Closely related to modern gray kangaroos, it was more robustly built, with powerful limbs and a stocky body adapted for browsing in forested and open woodland environments. Standing over two meters tall, Protemnodon anak likely moved in a slower, bounding gait rather than fast hopping. Fossils suggest it fed on leaves and shrubs, thriving in wetter habitats. Its extinction is thought to have resulted from climatic shifts and human activity, marking the loss of one of Australia’s giant marsupials. Additional Details Chitubox file provided if you want to resize the model. Care should be taken when removing supports. Using a heat gun or a blow dryer is highly recommended.
