Prusa i3 Flexible Z Coupling

On the Prusa i3 there's not a lot of space between the M5 threaded rods and the M8 smooth rods. This coupler is only 2cm wide, and should fit into that space, if you decide to use a coupler. I prefer rubber hose couplings, but I could add a couple mm to the inner hole and make a cosmetic coupling to hide the rubber hose, right?
