Using a modified "Greg's X Carriage" (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12481/files) for Prusa Mendel i2, I have added a holder that has interchangeable heads. The first one is for a cheap Dremel that holds an engraving bit. I'll be adding a small laser engraving laser and a large cutting laser at some point.
Note this is an i2, where the x-rails are horizontal not vertical as the i3 is.
To Do:
1. Carrier needs the Z-Endstop sensor mount, improve the through hole for the wire tie.
2. Remove the area covering the screws that hold down the belt. The cutouts are not deep enough, and really that whole area is probably not needed.
3. Improve the upper clamp: I think the design of the clamp needs to have a 160 degree arc, not the 180, and the size of the arc to the correct circumference of the Dremel, not the reduced size I have now. It works, but I am not sure it's correct.
