The Prusa Mini suffers from acute bendititis of the X carriage cable so bad that the Minda sensor wiring breaks within weeks or even days of delivery. Until such time as a factory fix is made available, this part greatly reduces the stress on the cable, extending its life. The wiring usually fails at the top tie wrap near the extruder. The Minda Saver works by moving the entire cable 15mm rearward, holding it loosely at a 60 degree angle with radiused openings. It is mounted in place of the original cable and held by two of the original size tie wraps at the extruder an one of the original sized tiewraps at the cable slot. It is free to rotate slightly further reducing the constraint on the cable. It reduces the stress on the cable at both ends of the X travel. If you find the cable slips downward excessively from the reduced clamping, just put a tie wrap on the cable above Minda Saver to limit the slippage.
