The Prusa Mk3 menu selection knob felt like it worked in the reverse direction to me. You could reverse the encoder direction in software or change the encoder connections, but this also reverses the adjustments for temperature etc. The only way I could think to make it work more intuitively is to relocate the control knob to the left hand side of the display. This requires a bit of soldering. See the video for details.
I'm only new to all of this, so it took a few tries to get it right. Works well.
Note: The holes for the mounting screws worked when I printed it in PLA, but they were a bit tight to start the threads when I printed it in PETG. I drilled them out slightly using a 2.5mm drill bit and they were OK (or even better, use a tap).
