Prusa Mk3 Light Support

This light support attaches onto the spool holder and provides for a 50mm LED lamp to be mounted. There are also a couple of clips to secure the 3mm cable.

It provides enough light for most printing tasks

I have uses a 5V USB Arlec USB mini LED (Model UC0181) which is magnetic & you stick on a thin supplied plate to the support. It also has an inline switch which I have zip tied to the spool holder (see photo).

It provides enough light for most printing tasks (it is rated at 100 lumens)

For those in Australia you can buy it from Bunnings (ebay has some but the price is excessive!)

There may be other alternatives from IKEA etc
