Reason behind the buildFor ages, I've wanted to build a Raspberry Pi-powered Cyberdeck. This is the culmination of a few months of work putting together the components, and 3D printing various iterations of the casing. You can read a complete write-up of the project on my blog. Print one of each plate. To assemble, you match the top plate to the top box and the bottom plate to the bottom box.The Pi 4 case I found somewhere else, and then heavily modified it to make it even more “minimal”.You will needA Raspberry Pi 4.A Waveshare 6.25" IPS DSI screen.A Psion 5 keyboard (which you will need to disassemble - careful to extract the keyboard with its ribbon cable attached and intact!). I found mine on eBay.Rasmus Backman's Psion 5 keyboard adapter board. (I got the microUSB version, but essentially it's the same item, but updated).DIY USB C cables to connect up the keyboard adapter to the Pi's USB ports and also to connect up the UPS power supply to the Pi 4/screen.Waves
