This kit allows you to mount a power unit on a 40x20 v-slot rail.
The power unit can be equipped with a power socket inlet with a fuse and a rocket switch and, optionally, with another small switch (I connected an LED strip to it).
The PSU I designed this kit for is a Meishile DC 12V 40A 480W, but I believe that it will fit a whole bunch of PSU from different manufacturers (see photo and measures).
The kit includes:
- a mount bracket.
- a switch box with openings for a switched power inlet and a secondary small switch.
- a switch box with a single opening for a switched power inlet.
Installation:
========
Attach the bracket to the rails of the printer frame by means of the appropriate screws.
Secure the power unit to the bracket by means of 4 M4x10 screws.
Make the necessary wiring and connections to the power unit terminal block. Take care to run the cables intended for the control board through the appropriate hole in the switch box.
