Pull-Back Copter - Flying Propeller Toy

Design Concept

The Pull-Back Copter is designed as an engaging and simple propeller toy that captures the imagination of children and adults alike. Its minimalist design allows easy handling and operation.
This design is inspired by my childhood memories of simple pull-to-fly toys, recreated in a modern, 3D-printable form while staying true to the original feeling.

Purpose

This toy serves as both a fun plaything and an educational tool to demonstrate basic physics concepts like aerodynamics and motion. It's an excellent choice for cognitive development in children while ensuring entertainment.

Printing Recommendations

Use PLA, PETG, or LW-PLA depending on your preference:


PLA: Easy to print, good stiffness, ideal for general use
PETG: More durable and impact-resistant
LW-PLA: Lightweight, improves flight performance of the propeller

Opt for a medium layer height to ensure a good balance between surface quality and print time.
No supports are necessary if the parts are oriented
