Pulley Project

Simple machines are an everyday part of life. This project is focused on one such machine, the pulley. Found in everything from elevators to robots, pulleys are an amazingly simple way of increasing the amount of force placed on an object while decreasing the amount entering the system. Students using in this project will see the force multiplication in practice while applying different weights and using different combinations of pulleys on the rig they create.
