Pump Bracket

I was going through some old drawings from more than 20 years ago, old 2D acad files. The old machine also has Solid Edge Ver 12 on it, software that is about 20 years old. Just to be a bit nostalgic I have modeled these old projects with the 20 year old Solid Edge as a comparison to using modern products. The view on the screen may not be as pretty, this machine is an old IBM T41 Thinkpad with only 1.5 GB ram and 32 bit XP. Using this old equipment I found I could produce these models about the same time as I would expect to take with my new software and equipment. Since the time of this setup how many thousands of dollars have us or our employers spent on software and equipment, often with no large gain in productivity. Solid Edge was the first 3D modeling system i learn to use and the sheet metal module in this vintage software is better than what's available in many of the latest products
