Modeled a bracket to firmly attach the push broom head and handle, where the thread for the broom enters on a chamfer. To stop handle from spinning loose, and to support the wider push broom. Wanted a tight fit on the handle at the intersection of the broom head and to not overhang the chamfer where the handle threads to the broom head. Made the gussets wide as possible to fit on one plate. Included the original SolidWorks Part file and STEP file of the finished bracket. The STEP file titled pushbroom-layout.step is an example of a simplified SW file that I used to verify the dimensions I was taking off the broom before I printed the whole bracket. I used Bambu PLA that was left over from another project PETG would probably be a better choice and I may consider that if this one ever needs to be replaced.
