I designed this airplane for my four-year-old son using Fusion 360. I have never done a project like this before. I had a small quadcopter that wasn't working and took the motor off of it and made it spin a propeller when the button is pressed.
The motor is a 6mm x 15mm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Y6VT6W/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=ericsdiy714-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B071Y6VT6W&linkId=3314412e5c959d823349d28b7854d950
The battery is a small thin 3.7v 180mah (A small watch battery works fine as well) A 1.5v battery works best.
The button is a tack momentary push button: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Y6VT6W/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=ericsdiy714-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B071Y6VT6W&linkId=3314412e5c959d823349d28b7854d950
I set up a video on how I put everything together: https://youtu.be/NV5qZH4n8DQ
