I noticed one of those children's toys with an animal where you push the base and the animal collapses. As usual I immediately said "i can print that!" :)
This should be possible to print without support on most printers.
Additional requirements:

Wool of your choice.
Big spring that fits inside the base.
Nylon or thin string that is fairly strong.
Instructions:

Print the build plate. Take thin (but strong) thread through from the base to the head (Inner base->Outer base->Big flat 1/2 bead->Leg bead->Leg bead->Body->Neck bead->Head). tie around wool and thread back down in reverse (leaving through the other hole).
Ditto for the hind quarters.
I tensioned it by putting the big spring inside, then pushing the inner base up while pulling the strings until the body stood by itself and the inner base was slightly recessed into the outer base. I pulled each string over the bottom lip, then using a rubber band I strapped the strings to the outside of the outer base a
