Because real chains are annoying to work with and the printable ones are never quite right.

An easy* way to create different chains in putty for your models, in any length.

For assembly no glue should be required, nor instructions. It doesn't actually matter which wheel is placed on top, nor does the turning direction on them work for all chains, I honestly don't know why. Two different wheels were needed, because the links wouldn't line up properly, when they were mirrored.

In this example the surrounding structure was prindet in Pla, the wheels in Resin. While it is possible to print everything in resin, the same is likely not true for FDM. The rows have a 0.1mm cutting edge, if your FDM Printer can handle that you're good.

*Some trial and error will be necessary to get it right. You can also define the chains ever more.
