This is adapter makes use of a 7/16" deep well socket. I embed the socket inside the first two printed parts. The third part is an end cap the attaches to a 3/8" square drive such as a ratchet or drill/driver. All of the parts are captured in an 1" pvc pipe to desired length that suits your purpose. I fixed the printed parts with epoxy.
Assembly: I eased the inside edge of the pvc with an knife edge. The fit with the printed parts is a minor friction fit. After the dry fit and check for alignment I refit everything with JB weld type two part epoxy.
The adapter has survived my 40+ nylon nuts down 12" threaded rod assemblies with no issues. This is sooo... much faster than drawing down the nut with a combination wrench.
