Our little cockapoo Noodle likes to jump up onto our attic window ledge to watch the birds. In the UK we don't have air conditioning, so when it's hot we open the windows to allow air to flow. I designed this thing to restrict our attic PVC window from opening too far, to keep Noodle safe.
Use something strong like nylon braided rope, that you'd use for blinds etc. I used 1.8mm stuff available here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071RFSBYL
Make a loop through the hole on the bracket (use a flame to seal the rope before you cut it - it stops it from instantly fraying and making threading difficult). Then make 2 knots in the end of the loop, with a gap just big enough to loop over the locking mechanism on the window side. This way, you can keep the catch permanently attached to the window without worrying about the mechanism slipping off.
Supports: No
Material: PLA
Infill: 100%
