I don't know if anyone is interested in making 3d printers. maybe I am in the wrong group. But there is a really cool design out there on youtube of a pvc printer made from pvc pipe corners.

I tried making it over a year ago and got snagged on the programing of the extruder hot end thermo control.

Here is another shot at making the frame from the plans available on youtube; search pvc printer, and some files that i am designing to make the frame better.

Some frame components such as the joints for the corners have slop space, extra space, so there are 1/2" and 1/4" spacers available here to space the parts out accordingly.

I quickly made a plate for the nema stepper motors to attach the z axis.

I will be looking for bushing designs for the slide x and y axis instead of using bottle necks.
