This version seems to work well!


This should should pretty well on most printers. I printed it on it's side, so that both the thread and the handle are touching the bed/support (As shown in the CAD picture above). Print slowly to get an accurate and smooth finish; I used 3000mm/min but printers might vary.

If your print is a bit droopy, try printing 2 next to each other as this allows the plastic to cool more between layers and should give a firmer overhang.

Designing tip:
I initially printed with the handle facing down on the bed.
I had to make sure each object of my CAD drawing was merged into one, otherwise the handle at the top would print seperately to the rest of the body and would snap easily.
