The Adafruit PyRuler (Engineer reference ruler with CircuitPython, product ID 4319) includes 4 capacitive touch sensors connected to an onboard Trinket M0 that can be used to trigger keyboard/keystroke sequences to a computer. I use the PyRuler to provide one-button activation of various login sequences.
This 3D printed object has two purposes:
1. Partially mask the capacitive touch buttons to minimize accidental triggering; and
2. Add some heft so that the ruler isn't torqued by the usb cable.
The printed object snap fits to the PyRuler and leaves all the reference information visible on the underside of the ruler. All LEDs are left visible.
