Pythagoras lays claim to perhaps the most famous geometric proof of all time. But, a^2+b^2 = c^2 doesn't mean a whole lot to a first time learner. This handy little math display lets you pivot these linkages to show that yes, indeed, the area of the "a" square plus the "b" square does equal the "c" square.
