Q11 NY Corners
These are Art-Deco style Corner Protectors for an Amplifier. The Interiors are rounded. I affix them to the amp with Silicon Adhesive. They’ve stayed in place for almost Two Years!
I created the Bodies in FUSION 360 based on a picture I saw in a woodworking Corbel magazine. These are much smaller, and truncated.
This was sliced and coded using ReplicatorG employing 1 shells (2 total) using PLA.
- FlashForge Creator Pro (Similar to Makerbot Replicator 2)
- Heated Bed 45 Celsius
- Blue Painters Tape on bed, no further treatment
- Print Temperature 220 degrees Celsius
- Feedrate 40 mm/s
- Travel Feedrate 55
(If anybody has more optimum feedrates, please share!)
REQUEST: Please help me improve my sharing! STEP files have proven reliable for me to transport file between different CAD platforms. If STEPs are a problem for you, please let me know what other common and relatively generic Cad format works better for you.
