Qidi Q1 Pro filter box

I recently got the Qidi Q1 Pro printer and while it is very good, especially for the price they sell, it could still use a few upgrades.The chamber circulation fan doesn't have a filter which is good to have if printing with ABS, ASA or similar materials that may give off dangerous fumes. While Qidi provides files to print a basket for an activated carbon filter, I felt it wasn't particularly suitable, so I made my own. The model is printed in three parts: two basket halves and a cover.I recommend printing with material that will withstand high temperatures, for example, ABS or ASA. PETG may also be an option. If you also want a performance upgrade consider the V2 option. It requires more work but you use a thicker fan and the basket holds more material. The thicker fan has more static pressure, meaning it will push the air easier through the filter.
