QIdi Tech Preventive Measure

Love My qidi Tech... still the best printer of the 3d printers I use.

However after 2.5 yrs.. along comes a glitch.. contacting qidi left me on a path of discovery.. that apparently this could be quite a common problem with the 2017 models.

Qidi people try to be helpful.. but they kind of throw out solutions in a numerical order in numerical emails until the right one sticks.

Long story short.. I ended up finding the problem.. but came up with something to prevent what seem to be the most common reason.. thought not mentioned in straight forward way.. the wires fatigue to the motor and break connection..

This thing is a strain relief for the x axis motor wires.. I put it in my qidi to reduce / delay this most likely failure.. maybe it can help your Qidi

Almost forgot... print this in ABS.. X motor gets warm and pla will soften....
