I wanted to add a filament runout sensor to my Qidi Tech X-Plus. This remixes an existing raspberry pi 3 case to have holes for mounting a filament runout sensor and clips to mount it onto the x-plus.
Sadly octoprint isn't available for this printer unless you want to get into the mainboard, so I'm using node-red to do the monitoring until I write something better.
The filament runout sensor used is this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DHD8WHF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You'll need to print:
2x printer attachements.
1x Pi3 bottom (rpi3-bottom_netfabb.stl from the original Pi case design)
1x Pi Top
