Quadcopter (Drone) Upgrades V2

After finishing building my quadcopter with ordered parts, I noted that the battery would need a case not only to protect it but to hold it without having to use battery velcro straps. Also by locating the battery at the bottom instead of the top of the quadcopter, it provides a better balance and center of gravity. A long with the battery holder then I found the need for landing gear to work as feet so the drone can stand without resting on the battery.

I designed this parts using openScad, source code is included in case some one needs to modify the original dimensions to adjust to their quads. In my case the hole distances match a standard 220mm quad copter carbon fiber frame.

After designing the first version I realize that the landing gear was fragile and broke easy on hard landings, also noted that the battery holder has difficult to print so I redesign it with open top so it can be printed in original position, also made it like a cage shape to make it lighte
