*Small update v2
-Experimented with thickness a bit, v2 is 3mm thick
-Added extra support beams for the motor mounts
-increased the size of the center hole for the motors
-changed the center mount configuration to increase compatibility
-added a 20x20 mount plate to mount a minimosd micro chip (zip-tie)
-added a 30x30 mount plate to mount a minimosd micro chip (zip-tie)
I changed my configuration to a push-quad. The motors are mounted upside down.
I'm very new to the hobby and wanted an indoor FPV quad. Ofcourse you can buy a "Ready to Fly" quad, but i enjoy building and designing the parts and configuration. It also helps me understand the technology of drones better.
The parts i bought for this drone are very inexpensive, i think the total was about 100-110 euro. I just got the cheapest components i could find on BG unless i knew the quality needed to be better.
The frame supports 2.75" (ish) props, I bought 3" and used a dremel setup to cut them down to 2.75".
