Quail Port Feeder

I noticed that our newly hatched quail chicks had a habit of fouling up their feed. We tried a commercial chick feeder and the chicks crawled into the oversized holes getting stuck and fouling up the food anyway.

These port style feeders require a plastic container, just cut circular holes in the sides big enough to side in the ports and cover with feed. They work best if placed near, but not touching, the bottom of the container. The tube keeps feed from pouring out the hole, and the quail can't poop on the feed.

Two sizes, one for chicks and one for full grown coturnix quail.
