Quarter-Turn Compression Latch A compact and robust 3D-printable quarter-turn latch for enclosures, cabinet doors, and DIY projects. The mechanism consists of only four printed parts and operates with a simple 90° rotation between the open and closed positions. The handle naturally rests in the downward position, allowing gravity to keep the latch closed. This makes it well suited for applications exposed to vibration, such as camper cabinets, workshop furniture, or portable equipment. The tapered latch arm provides a slight compression effect when closing, allowing doors or panels to be pulled tightly against the frame if required. Installation & Assembly The latch is designed for a simple installation using only three drilled holes and common hardware. Preparing the Door Drill the main center hole to 20 mm using a step drill.
