Quick Change Wall Mounted Spool Holder

Here's a spool holder that I was inspired by the quick changing toilet paper holder. I've uploaded the brackets and 2 different types of pins that the spool can spin on. One of the pins is a sold pin with a rounded edge. The second pin is one that you can bolt any type of bearings to. The 2nd pin has a cutout that a 6mm nylon insert lock nut can be pressed into. In one of my pictures, I show how I attached 4 608 bearings using a 6mm screw. If you use a 608 bearing, I would suggest that you wrap the 6mm bolt with electrical tape until the 608 bearing fits on the bolt. If you don't, the bearing will tend to spin on the bolt instead of the bearings being utilized. To attach the pin to the wall bracket, the holes are prepped for a 5mmx35mm bolt. In one picture I show you the difference in using LM6UU linear bearings and a standard 608 bearing. Either way, just change the length of the bolt. If you want the pin to be longer, use longer 6mm bolts and more bearings.
