Quick Disconnect for OOD Proton Pack

This is a quick disconnect for the Proton Pack made by out of Out Of Darts. This requires no additional hardware except for glue and a rubber band. Optionally electrical tape or a thin gasket material may be used to assist with the airseal, but I have had no problems.

Print 2 of Opener and QDProton Connector. QDProtonConnector requires support and should be printed with the inside surface facing up, or down.

Part 'opener' may be snapped into the peg on QDProtonConnector, but may require pliers to apply sufficient force.

Glue one half to the provided tube using flexible glue like hot glue or E6000. A rigid glue might work but may also peel off. Screw the other half on using the original M3x10 screws, then trim the exposed half of the tube end until the clamshell can close smoothly.

A "detent" is normal, and is the result of the ribs 'snapping' into the tube ridges. Add a rubber band until desired tightness is achieved.
