Put simply, this Bench Dog “Blade” is a low-profile bench dog with a quick-release head controlled by a fast-action cam for use on a workbench or MFT (multifunction table). It acts like any other bench dog to secure stock against a fixed point or fence, but lets you quickly clamp your piece in place, and release it without having to unscrew or release a traditional clamp, vice or holdfast. 20 mm and ¾ inch (19.05 mm) diameter versions available in separate print profiles. Printed in parts and some minor assembly required. Refer to the diagram below. Use a flat head screwdriver to secure the bolt in place. PLA was sufficiently strong for moderate clamping force. For additional strength, consider printing in PETG. Boost MeI enjoy making practical designs for the woodworking shop. I am new at this so appreciate all the support! Thank you!
