QX07 19” Rack Mount For Audio/Visual Studio, DJ Equipment, ATX Computers, Phone Equipment, etc.
These are GREAT if you want to make your own custom server, or custom rack for DJ or Band! I have been using these with 300 Watt Amps unsupported in the back with NO warping or sagging for 18 months! (I should still get around to supporting the back!
This design uses 10-24 nuts and machine screws. 10-32’s work, also. The Hex Nuts stay put in their recessed area, but a dab of glue wouldn’t hurt!
The Rackmount pieces are designed to accommodate a #10 Woodscrew to affix the pieces to the wooden interior of an enclosure or stud guides. #10 machine screws can be used with a nut for other materials.
A STEP FILE of the model is included so that you may modify the fastener dimensions for another size.
The design I have submitted is for use with an enclosure with an interior width of 20” or 508mm. These are nice even numbers if you are designing an enclosure from scratch, or jus
