I printed 3 gears for my odometer.
If you want to test the odometer without reassembling the dashboard and plugging it into the car, put 12 volts onto the odometer stepper motor, and alternate the polarity to create steps.
I printed this on my ender 3 with a .2 nozzle. You should put your printer on very slow speeds for good results. You will have to scale the gears slightly as well as change the filament flow rate of your printer to get the gears size and teeth perfect.
If the gears are even slightly to large, it will create to much resistance, and the motor will not spin. If they are to small it might skip teeth. Make sure to test the odometer before you reassemble everything. I had to print many gears before I got it working well.
