r53 mini shift box extension (v1)

This is an exact fit shift box extension for the r53 mini cooper. If you are going to install a short shifter (adjustable or static) you most likely will run into fitment issues as the stock shift box is very short and cannot fit a longer shifter. Most people just delete the shift box lid which is a bad idea as the shifter can get dirt or other debris on it which will ruin your shift feel and eventually ruin the shifter.

I am not a professional model maker but this is plenty good enough to do the job. Keep in mind I am still finishing my r53 track car and have not fully tested this model yet. Shifting feels smooth with no interference but running through first to sixth under load (have not been able to just yet as waiting for a few last parts) will be what tells me if there are any weird interference issues. If I find any issues I will release an updated version.
