Radiator cover fixing :
As the central heating radiator side cover fasteners get older, deteriorates.
After having taken the dimensions on one of the existing fixings, here is my achievement.
If the radiator temperature does not exceed 50 to 60 ° C it can be made of PLA otherwise the ABS or the PETG will be more resistant to heat.
Production :
In my house, the temperature of my radiators does not exceed 50 ° C. So I made this thing in PLA.
I made several corrections, because the PLA is not very flexible and the first versions were more difficult to install than the original ABS part.
The latest version is v6.
For the design, I used OpenSCAD v2015.03-2.
For printing on my AlfaWise U30 printer, I'm using Cura v15.04.6.
You can download all the files I used.
To help those who are new to 3D printing and still have difficulties with their printer, I have attached the gcode file and the Cura configuration profile.
For a good grip, I print the first layer of 0.3 mm thick,
