This spool holder is a remix of a remix of a remix :)
Its for the Railcore II printer. It requires a short length of M6x100 threaded rod and 4 M6x100 nuts.
Use two nuts to secure the rod into the spool arm (alternatively you can thread in a set-screw if you wish). Two more nuts are used on the two end-caps. You need two end caps so that you can tighten them into each other and lock on and don't spin off.
The picture I took of the final end-caps shows them as solid. The solid design was my first iteration, and of course as soon as I printed them I realized that I could make them use a bit less material. So the final uploaded design has the spoke-style end caps.
I also created a smaller cap, which will hold the spool on fine, but which you can also slide the spool off of without unscrewing it. For the smaller one, you just print one cap. Then you can double nut it and it will stay in place.
