Rain Stick – 3D Printable Sound ToyThis 3D printable rain stick is a fun, functional sound toy that replicates the soothing sound of falling rain when turned upside down. Standing approximately 165mm tall and 60mm in diameter, it features a knurled grip texture for a sleek look and comfortable handling. To get the rain stick working just right:Print with 3 perimeters/walls for strength and proper sound channeling.Use 5%–10% gyroid infill — this irregular structure disrupts the BBs just enough to create that classic rain sound.Add a pause in your slicer around 42mm–45mm Z height (or as suits your machine) to insert ~½ a shot glass of .177 cal BBs into the chamber. Then resume the print to seal it all up.The default print profile provided on MakerWorld works great, but feel free to experiment with scaling, infill percentage, or different BB materials to tune the tone and duration of the rain effect. Lower infill percentages result in a slower, more soothing fall; denser infill speeds thin
