Hi everyone! Got this to share!
Today I would like to present my laitiest project. A camera mounting system. It was all started from when I lost my tripod plate for my camera and printed one to match the tripod. After that I wanted somthing to hold my lenses to my waist as for some reason I like primes and have a whole set i jump between them. Also I wanted somthing that would bend around whatever I attached it to.
Right now I have only done cameras but hope this could turn into a open sorce project. It has already served it perpose and I only plan on expanding it.
Details-
The screw I use for the camera is a 1/4-20 1.25 inch screw.
Connecting the back to front I am using M6 hardware, depending what im attaching it too\
Back plate I printed out of TPU, I reccomend high infill for it.
Same for the lock and the tripod mount
I Have tested this with my heaviest lens/camera combo, sigma 15-35mm f1.8 and canon 7D mk1. total weight is 1600g. It held fine but it did bend the TPU backin
