PREMISE
I needed a spool holder for my Raiscube R2, so I browsed Thinghiverse seeking for it and I found this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2809786 of Jankito. Sadly the print cannot be easily setted with that model orientation, and the model itself is not optimized for structural resistance and lightness: for this reason I designed this new model attached.
Although I've not "used a part, or changed the look of, an other user's thing" (as the "This is a Remix" button says), Jankito's model has been the inspiration for this result. Please consider to also take a look at it.
THE MODEL
It is optimized for a lightweight design: its holes left a few vertical structures so to sustain the deformation induced by a large load: although it is unlikely that the user loads more than 1 kg of filament at a time, still there is enough space for more spools (130 mm from side to side).
All the components can be printed without supports.
