Create a pen holder using old RAM memory sticks Do you have old RAM sticks lying around? Did you ever think about sticking them together but don't know how to make sure it's a perfect Octagon? Then try this minimal bracket to hold your RAM sticks together. No glue or screws needed. The press fit is held in place with crush ribs, therefore PLA is not recommended. Using 2 perimeters and 15% infill worked just fine, any layer height will do. Use a brim if you have adhesion issues with your filament, the top in particular may need it. I only have old DDR1, DDR2, and DDR3 sticks to measure, so the .stl files for these assume the following measurements: VersionWidthThicknessDDR131.9mm1.3mmDDR230mm1.3mmDDR330mm1.3mm The width and thickness refer to the side that will be inserted into the print. Thanks to the crush ribs, this will also work with a thickness of 1.2mm. PCBs with a thickness of 1.4 need a tweaked model though. More on that below.
