Ram Promaster Slide Window Screen Insert - Roadtrek

The bug screens Roadtrek use for the rear slider window are well, not ideal… Anyway I made this just about as big as my print bed would allow (~260mm). It’s 2 files (1 side) printed twice for 2 sides. Glue prints of the 2 files together for each side. Then glue screen to one of the sides (apply glue to inside edge only). I used small clamps to hold screen in place and somewhat taut until dried. Trim off screen just outside glue line for the 3 track insert sides, middle bar area and the side cupping the window edge don’t need bare plastic showing. Finish by applying glue to the other side and clamp it all together (apply glue to both inside and outside edges). Focus clamp force to press the 3 outside channel insert edges together, flexing close the gap caused by screen thickness or it might be too thick for window track.

My print settings: supports yes, .5 nozzle, .25 layer, 4 top & bottom, 3 perimeters
