This is a little spinner I designed. It is fully 3D printable. There are two base pieces, two washers, and then you can print a number wheel in order to select a “random” number from 1-n. I designed the model so you can take it apart somewhat easily and swap out the wheels. I actually do not think they are totally random, but I haven't tested them enough. They work aligned vertically and laying flat on the table. Enjoy! Prints well in PLA or PETG. PETG might make it a little easier to take apart. Print them in different colors and have fun! I use them when making up numbers for practice problems for students, but they can also replace dice. My plan is to design more “wheels” to go inside of the spinner, so stay tuned! If you teach Physics, there will be more things to accompany the spinner!
