*THIS DESIGN HAS NOT BEEN FLOWN AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED EXPERIMENTAL*
(If you attempt to launch, it is as your own risk. Please read more below)
A roughly 2/15 scale model rocket of the Rapier SAM.
This rocket was designed using publicly available photographs of Rapier SAM rockets with some creative liberties taken to meet the requirements to satisfy a safe launch platform for Estes engines.
(The diameter of the body is twice the scale of the length. However does not impede launch capability)
Engine Compatibility:
Estes E & D sized motors of all configurations. D sized motors will need an E to D adapter.
*IMPORTANT*
Reference max take-off weights from Estes engine chart before any launch. Your take off weight can and will vary based on settings chosen, chosen parachute, shock cord, and other misc. items.
